Fish pinata's?
mkcerusky Report This Comment Date: November 03, 2005 03:51PM
nope....but what is a "pinata"?
John_Stone Report This Comment Date: November 03, 2005 05:17PM
piñata's are candy-filled paper-mache objects (often animals) that are a main
activity in birthdays and celebrations. You blindfold kids one at a time, and
they take whacks at the piñata with a stick until it cracks open and the candy
falls out.

Yep, tardded1 guessed it first (unless spooks aren't fly, which I do not know
because I don't knoew the word spook).
It is interesting the comment of 160201 because he/she lists mediterranean
countries, and curiously I had never seen this trick before going to mexico:
meybe us italians don't use it, but other close to us do.

Thanks John_Stone for exaplaining about the "pinata" now I realize
that is pronounced very similarly to the italian word "pignatta" which
has the same meanings...and also means big pot.

It does help keep the flies away. There is a chain of BBQ restaurants here in
Austin that uses them, and several clubs along the lake.

So how do bags of water suspended from the ceiling keep flies away? Do the
flies get confused or something?
