True, but remaining uninformed or getting false information is far from ideal.
It's hard for an intelligent, well informed person to be happy in any era. I
look back at what my parents went through, world wars and the great depression,
wonder how the hell they got through that, but also find that reflecting on
those times helps me realize my own situation is comparatively much better which
keeps me from being as bitter as some of the willfully ignorant folks are.

Still pointing fingers and being backhanded in your words Quasi. You have no
room for other people's thoughts or opinions, only your own. Your soul is
dogshit dude. Other peoples life experiences differ greatly from yours.
Seriously dude, I know you try, but you come off as a pious asshole. Until you
learn compassion for those who differ in opinions and life choices from your
own, you will only see every one else in a negative light, and I let you in on
this observation, watching you during the covid crisis, you ARE
"bitter". start your denial diatribe here......

And some people are just naturally unhappy regardless of circumstance and lash
out in personal attacks of rage over perceived slights.

If there's any light in my life, it is the constant
irony found in
today's world and how the artificial division growing between us brings it into
fuller view.
