Reminds me of Marvin's Killdozer (time being relative and all...)

That thing was awesome. Too bad he used his superpowers for evil.

Hmm, not too sure Marvin used anything for evil. Sounds more like just another
example of the concept of imminent domain gone horribly wrong (and NOT used for
the purpose it was intended for, what a surprise huh?) resulting in one
seriously pissed off man refusing to just lay down and roll over when he was
defeated by an unfair and unjust legal system.
I think we need more Marvins and fewer examples of what drives folks like him to
take such drastic measures to "level" the playing field, and yeah, the
pun was intentional

Yeah, he wasn't really evil, just a little over the top (pun intended) trying
to level the playing field. We've had a couple of emminent domain cases around
here that while not effecting me directly do really piss me off. Just before the
boom went bust our county commisioners took over a large section of land in the
northern part of the county, paying the few, scattered landowners there a fair
price for their properties, but taking out massive loans to do that as well as
pay for numerous studies and provide incentives for developers. The developers
all disappeared and the taxpayers are on the hook for loan payments that amout
to several thousand dollars a day on what is now vacant land. Dumbasses thought
they could make a fast buck by taking over someone elses property.
