Democrats originally were the conservative party, and Republicans were the
liberals. Eventually, they will flip flop again.
I'd much rather have a liberal, peace-loving, pot-smoking president and congress
than a bunch of bible thumping warmongers who want to turn the US into a police
state.

three things come to mind: bay of pigs, marilyn monroe, repeated attempts
to kill castro by assassination.

Democrats are no better than Republicans they are all politicians and they all
look out for themselves only. If you think any of them have your best interest
in mind then you are only deceiving yourselves.

Reality is right in front of peoples faces, but, they don't want to know the
truth, it takes away from their "American Dream".
Consumer Capitalism
jgoins Report This Comment Date: March 25, 2007 11:24AM
So what you are saying is we need to all stop spending money. Not pay our
utility bills, house payments, drive cars, buy groceries or anything. Maybe we
should all quit work as well since we won't need money because we will have
nothing to spend it on. Well the world will always be consumer based, at least
until someone invents the replicator from Star Trek. We cannot survive in this
world without money which supports the "consumer capitalism".
As I said, all politicians are in it for themselves, that being said, we choose
to support the ones who are doing the things we want which makes us think they
are doing it for us. In reality they are doing it for themselves only and they
pretend they are doing what we want them too. Then as the sheep we are, we
believe they are working for us. This statement applies to Democrates as well
as Republicans. I support Bush because he is doing the same thing I would do if
I were in his place as far as the middle east is concerned, not because I
believe he is doing it "for" me. Until there can be a better form of
government in the US, this is what we have to work with so it is better not to
have the illusion that they are working for us. Even though I seem to agree
that we need a change in our form of government, I accept the fact that there
will be no change made. A real change cannot be made in our government because
that kind of change can only come from revolution and I do not condone that as
yet.

shaDez, when are you starting it up?
jgoins Report This Comment Date: March 26, 2007 12:56PM
A revolution can never work. There is no way in this country to get enough
people to agree on anything, much less a revelution. It can never happen. Then
when the gun grabbers and politicians take all our guns away from us it would be
impossible. Also when this happens we will be open to an invasion by another
country, then our form of government will change and probably not to our
likeing. Realisticly there is no way to change our government. We will just
have to make the best of it and learn to live with it. Shadez, I am sorry but
your dream will never come true. The sooner we learn to accept what is, the
better our health will be because the worry and aggitation in our minds will
stop. We are a nation of individuals who will never agree on any one course of
action.

;46, i checked my schedule, does wednesday at 3:00 work for you?
jgoins, i used to say the same, but the way things are going now it is nolonger
looking so far fetched... all it takes is one fuck up at this point which will
open us up to an invasion anyways... and sreiously doubt that the dems will be
able to deal with it... some type of change will happen soon, i think we can all
feel it in the air, for better or worse, and i like to look on the brighter side
of things

I believe we have already been invaded with a pre-invasion force. There are 2
pre-invasion forces present at this time, muslim and Mexican. Which one will be
activated is anyone's guess.
