Comes from not locking the ground level containers to the deck properly
first.
A commonly overlooked safety procedure and normally they can get away with
it
until the vessel hits big seas.
The shipping companies should be forced to go back and pick up the containers
that
fell off, as they end up floating about one foot under waters surface and have
been
responsible for countless marine accidents.
Each container needs to be fitted with a radar beacon so they can be quickly
located.
