This story has been around for several years and it is TOTAL BS. One major
problem in the story is the fact that there isn't enough oxygen above 12,000
feet to sustain human life. At 16,000 feet he would have been DEAD from the lack
of oxygen and FROZEN solid by the time anyone saw him.

Flyboy, you are wrong. I have flown VFR From redding Ca to Fullerton Ca at
15,500 for the cruise portion of the flight, yes I was tierd the whole way and
yes my passenger went to sleep, but no one was even near fatal due to hypoxia.
regulations in the FARs is 30mins above 12,500.......... Also David Letterman
had this man, Larrry Waters on the late show to interview him, I have seen the
interview. Call me a liar.
