Yeah, nobody talks about the whole picture.

It makes me cringe to think of all the -- how many: dozens? hundreds? --
nuclear 'tests' that have been done around the earth. It doesn't matter
whether it's a 'war' or a 'test' ... it still a nuclear explosion raining little
bits of radioactivity into the entire atmosphere. -- People think that
Chernobyl was bad (and it was), but there was a far worse plant meltdown in the
Urals in 1954 -- like 5x to 10x worse. In 1954. All that radiation is nice and
evenly spread around the Earth now. -- Does anyone remember the series of
1950's nuclear test explosion images that someone posted awhile back? Posted
info on them too, interesting stuff. Big, early, messy bombs, exploding in
mid-atmosphere. We all breathe it today.
We are soaking Iraq, like we soaked Croatia, in a pretty fine dust of
radioactive munitions. They will be suffering, like Vietnam is suffering today,
for generations to come. So much for sparing the truly innocent.
