Computer components don't qualify as steam punk.

Actually Mr Thinks he knows it all the correct comment would have been
"wrong kind of computer parts.
Other examples of steampunk contain alternate history-style presentations of
such technology as lighter-than-air airships, analog computers, or such digital
mechanical computers as Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace's Analytical Engine.

If making intelligent comments now and then as compared to the usual ignorance
and stupidity that gets expressed here make me a Mr. Thinks He Knows It All then
X. At least I put some thought into things instead of
just trying outsmart-ass someone all the time like most dickheads here. And you
know what was meant by my comment as it is OBVIOUS from the picture so
again X.
And while we're nit-picking, analog computers can also be electronic and not
just mechanical, Malcom.
Then again I do my share of smart-assing too...
I like Linda Lovelace's analytical engine better.

On second thought, there is no real reason electrical and electronic devices
should be excluded from steam punk since they were being used and developed
concurrently and it would only be a matter of time before semiconductors were
put to use. In fact early electronics components and vacuum tube technology
would seem to to fit right in with the steam punk genre. Maybe an electric-steam
punk genre? I used to repair electro-mechanical traffic signal controllers and
they are very steam punk-ish looking inside.

seeing as we live on opposite sides of the country, that would be quite hard to
accomplish, even in your wildest dreams

I disagree, we do not have a lot in common at all, which makes communication
more interesting, when he's not being a dickhead that is.

you have to keep your bitch in check.
BlahX3 Report This Comment Date: August 25, 2012 08:52PM
In this case bitch = head and check = ass.
The only reason we argue is because Digger says stupid shit and twists my words
around. In other words, when he's being a dickhead.
