Pele' was my hero as a kid. the Dallas Tornado (SC) tried to get him to come to
their camp one summer, but he declined.

There are benefits to living on an active volcano, and there are risks to it.
You don't need to be a geologist to figure out what those risks are.

Man has put himself in harm's way for tens of thousands of years.
Living next to or on top of a fuckin' volcano is nothing new, nor is building
cities under sea level, on a flood plain, or in the middle of tornado alley.

I grew up in the midwest and had some close calls with tornados as well as a
couple of blizzards. I've lived in Florida for 29 years and lived through
several close calls with hurricanes and one major hurricane smackdown. Mother
nature can get ya just about anywhere.

there was a tornado in downtown Ft. Worth a few years ago. you can still see
the damage on the__________ building.
