fossil_digger are you good at identifying boons? The reason why I am asking is I found some boons on my land when I was Deere hunting and I never seen boons like that before they look like human boons but I dont know. I will try to get around and take a pitcher off them and post them here.

They look like torso I think and they look really old. When I bought the land the owner said there use to be an old plantation on it it might be some slaves that use to work it but I could not find eney headstones.

if they are slave remains, you need to start excavating immediately! anything other than bones are worth ALOT of money! slave tags, tools pots and pans, most importantly leggings are almost priceless!!!!! be sure to log every little peice of info. about depth found, exactly where found etc... you could've found a gold mine! slave history is very hard to come by. there just is'nt much physical evidence out there. you'll almost never find headstones cause most plantation owners did'nt bother to have a formal burial. either way, DIG, DIG, DIG!!!!!

If it was Arkansas they're probably from a little boy who got gang banged and murdered while a the dueling banjos played in the background.

i will always say DIG! but you have to consider in this situation that the most important (valueable not only monetarily but of extreme historical value) items collected from a sight like this is the forementioned articles. these can be found easily w/ metal detectors (highly recommended slslea). all you want to find is something small that can be authenticated, the interested groups will be drooling over getting acesss to that land ,and you don't do shit but collect the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ scope the area good, say to yourself if i were here ,where would i build a house etc..... you want to find the actual slave house, not bodies. tools slave tags ,leggings anythig like that. you did say you owned the land, right?
