fossil, not a "small town"...... "Religion-clinging"..... "Gun-toting".... Individual.... that's for sure. Not to mention that description is also the last thing McCain is, that's what he sells to (his base), but he couldn't get farther away from that than he already is, even if he tried. It's simple, when you sell someone their self you're going to "make the sale" every time.... as long as you are believable, or, a politician.

well you're right i don't live in a small town, i am not religious, but i do own guns. i am voting for anyone other than that lying ass black liberation theologian/militant muslim, flip flopping, no experience whatsoever, biggest con-man in political history piece of shit!

he doesn't even know what he's going to do if by some incredible stretch of the imagination he does get elected. and when he does take a side, he just flops the other way the next week pandering to whatever group he may be speaking to. it amazes me how gullible people are. eye

Like McCain isn't flipping his ass back and forth these days just as much trying to get a vote.

I'll continue what Bush started. I don't agree with his policies. I do agree. I would do something different. Stay the course. I don't agree with the time-table for Iraq. And then in the news today he does agree with it.

Flipping is the definition of politician... you should be old enough to understand that Fossil.

In politics, "flip-flop" is considered the equivalent of two four-letter words -- but not by Arnold Schwarzenegger. If anything, the California governor says, politicians should flip-flop more frequently.

"Flip-flopping is getting a bad rap, because I think it is great," he said during an interview taped last week and broadcast Sunday on ABC's "This Week." "Someone has made a mistake. I mean, someone has, for 20 or 30 years, been in the wrong place with his idea and with his ideology and says, 'You know something? I changed my mind. I am now for this.'

"As long as he's honest or she's honest, I think that is a wonderful thing. You can change your mind," he said. "I have changed my mind on things, and there is nothing wrong with it."

Changing your mind on things can signal progression and enlightenment. But ... when it happens weekly it signals one who talks out of both sides of their mouth, which is quite another thing altogether and of course is also the sign of a true politician, and one never suitable for my vote angry

yes i know as well as anyone flip flopping is normal, but not every day. alsoflopping sides on a menial topic is understandable, but to flop on Iraq, afghanistan, and many other foreign policies just shows how little this guy knows about the world. he is not even close to being ready to govern the free world.

Hello everyone,
As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to 'The War Zone'. I wanted to share with you what happened. He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram. As the Soldiers were lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service. So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you. I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States. I just don't understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country.
If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake.

Flip-flopping doesn't necessarily bother me. If they change their opinion from a wrong one to a right one, I'm not going to bust anyone's balls. If they change from right to wrong, whether it's one day or 20 years, well, let the ball-busting begin. Most of them, they don't seem like they really have any convictions they're willing to lose an election for. They're looking to us to tell them what to think, so that's what we should do.

I think Obama's going to win, not because he's qualified, but because I'm cynical and don't have much faith in my fellow Americans. McCain isn't much of a Republican, but at least he's not a Socialist. I'll be one of those people in the voting booth, holding my nose and voting for McCain. It pisses me off, actually.

I haven't been conned. I never said I liked Obama, or that I was going to vote for him. I said I think he's going to win. He's a smart boy, and a good politician. I think he's fallen for his own hype, and thinks that qualifies him to run this country. I don't. I think he will be a colossal disaster, who will accomplish the unthinkable task of making GWB look like a fucking genius. I also think that every dumb idea he has that does the opposite of what he thinks it will, he'll figure out some way to put the blame on Bush, which millions of retards will lap up like dogs. When you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging. I don't think he understands that. Digging in a different direction doesn't solve the problem. I think we're headed for some seriously bad shit, that I might not live long enough to see us get out of.

What worries me even more is that every dumb fucking idea a Democrat-controlled Congress comes up with will be rubber-stamped by Obama. In our system of government, Congress is where the real power is. I'm also worried about having even more Socialists on the Supreme Court, but I'll save that for another rant. "Change", just for the sake of change, usually isn't a good idea. Unintended consequences are a bitch.

In the unlikely event that I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it. I hope I am.

if you buy into anything Obama says, then you have been duped. for that matter if you believe anything Mccain says, you've been duped. at least mccain has a clue about the inner workings of foreign policy and will not roll over and take it in the ass from every one of our enemies like Obama will undoubtedly do.

if you vote for someone because of their politics then you are truly blind. politicians never ever do what they claim they will do. then you have a guy like Obama who says one thing one day and different the next. sure you need to change stances on policies, but flopping daily proves one thing to me: this asshole has no idea what needs to be done, but he will do and say anything to get his elected.
i don't want to hear any shit about,"well he's new to Washington and is feeling his way around" or any other excuses such as this. he has no platform whatsoever to remedy anything!
hell, this chickenshit will not debate Mccain....he knows he'll get his ass kicked all over the stage!

This appeared on the Editorial Page of the Richmond Times-Dispatch July
7, 2008 . If you think it is appropriate for the times, pass it on.

Editor Times-Dispatch

Each year I get to celebrate Independence Day twice. On June 30 I
celebrate my independence day and on July 4 I celebrate America 's.
This year is special because it marks the 40th anniversary of my
independence.
On June 30, 1968 , I escaped Communist Cuba and a few months later I was
in the United States to stay. That I happened to arrive in Richmond on
Thanksgiving Day is just part of the story, but I digress.
I've thought a lot about the anniversary this year. The election-year
rhetoric has made me think a lot about Cuba and what transpired there.
In the late 1950's, most Cubans thought Cuba needed a change, and they
were right. So when a young leader came along, every Cuban was at least
receptive.
When the young leader spoke eloquently and passionately and denounced
the old system, the press fell in love with him. They never questioned
who his friends were or what he really believed in. When he said he
would help the farmers and the poor and bring free medical care and
education to all, everyone followed. When he said he would bring
justice and equality to all, everyone said "Praise the Lord". And when
the young leader said, "I wil be for change and I'll bring you change,
everyone yelled, "Viva Fidel!"
But nobody asked about the change, so by the time the executioner's guns
went silent the people's guns had been taken away. By the time everyone
was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed. By the time
everyone received their free education it was worth nothing. By the
time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now working
for him. By the time the change was finally implemented Cuba had been
knocked down a couple of notches to Third-World status. By the time the
change was over more than a million people had taken to boats, rafts,
and inner tubes. You can call those who made it ashore anywhere else in
the world most fortunate Cubans. And now I'm back to the beginning of
my story.
Luckily, we would never fall in America for a left leaning young leader
who promised change without asking, what change? How will you carry it
out? What will it cost America ?

Would we?

Federal law requiring disclosure of all guns on your tax forms

Federal law requiring disclosure of all guns on your tax forms

Below is a back-door federal approach to national gun registration. It will be passed administratively and won't even require a vote by Congress.

Remember, the socialist takeover CANNOT succeed without disarming the public. This is step one; a national list of who has what guns.

Subject: senate bill SB-2099 / amendment to internal revenue act of 1986

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It may require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.

This bill was introduced on Feb. 24. This bill will become public knowledge 30 days after it is voted into law. This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the Finance Committee can pass this without the Senate voting on it at all.

The full text of the proposed amendment is on the U.S. Senate homepage, 20 [www.senate.gov] You can find the bill by doing a search by the bill number, SB-2099.

You know who to call; I strongly suggest you do. Please send a copy of this e-mail to every gun owner you know.

Congress is now starting on the firearms confiscation bill. If it passes, gun owners will become criminals if you don't fully comply.

It has started.

Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House. This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009.

Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because the government is trying to fly it under the radar.

To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.

Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

-It is registered

-You are fingerprinted

-You supply a current Driver's License

-You supply your Social Security #

-You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing

- Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.

- There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18.

-They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along.

Any hunters in your family, pass this along.

This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.

This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not.

If you take my gun, only the criminal will have one to use against me. HR 45 only makes me/us less safe.

[thomas.loc.gov]:

Please... copy and send this out to EVERYONE in the USA , whether you support the Right to Bear Arms or are for gun control. We all should have the right to choose.
