yes. other side shows the size of it better. can be seen from the air if you fly into Vegas from Phoenix.

Yes, the other side does show the size better, however when we travelled through security was very tight becuase of 9/11.

Interesting fact:

Hoover Dam required over 3,250,000 cubic yards of concrete plus another million for the power plant, intake towers and other support structures.
