You think that if the theocrats take over and make America a religious state, that whippings and stonings and the like won't come back? Seriously now, you ain't read much history bub. We're not so very far away from that you know, timewise. It was basically yesterday that "witches" (read: independant women) were being burned at the stake in this here free land that we took from the Indians.

26135 is right, the newspeak these days is amazing. Every named "act" means the opposite: No Child Left Behind (allows recruiters into every school), Clean Air (allows polluters greater sway), Happy Forests (timber company free for all), P.A.T.R.I.O.T. (FBI does sneak-n-peak break-ins)... on and on...
