Actually it doesn't say much at all.
US aid comes to about US$ 350 million.
Austalia (with about 15% of the popluation) committed AU$ 1 Billion (~US$ 780 million)
Now I'm not saying that one is better than the other, but for God's sake what do you seppo's want? A medal or a chest to pin it on?
