Stupid Japanese, haven't they discoverred morals yet? All stories must have morals otherwise they are nonsense. This Japanese sailor had to deserve this pathetic fate somehow. Seeing as he had the sense to kill himself and take some anime loving faggots, he didn't deserve to die before the deed was done at least.
