238240 -- take a look at the latest polls about what the people in the center think (hint: see latest results from Virginia and New Jersey). Bush is right now running about 20% approval rating from self-identified independents. In fact, but for idealog right-wingnuts who STILL can't face the fact that this guy is a zero, he essentially has no support at all in this country. He is already a lame duck President with 3 years left to serve. God help us all -- and the rest of the world too, because they need us whether they want to admit it or not.
