I have always used the tax refund as a savings plan. If I were to put the money in the bank savings I would have access to it and it wouln't stay there. I don't care that it doesn't draw interest, the fact that I can't touch it until the refund time makes it good for me. I always pay more every payday in taxes just for this reason. Nothing wrong with that in my book.
