The american justice system is not meant to kill people for what they stand for. That idea is disgusting.
Tookie Williams did commit crimes however the american justice system is about gaining convictions of specific acts that specific people committed. Otherwise the trial process is a sham.
The charges Williams was convicted of were trumped up by LAPD officers that convinced inmates to lie to support their case.
