would you like to go down in history as the president who purposely killed 500 people because you thought the planes were going to be used as bombs? there's no way we would've known and proved for sure un the short time we did know that those planes were going into the wtc.
unless of course you claim the conspiracy theory of we knew in advance what was going on all along.
which i'm sure you'll pull that card, it's your only defense.
