i hope they realize that the fish would be driving damn near blind when it is looking through such an intense lense (on side of the bowl) take my word for it or just apply lenz's law - if i rememeber correctly all incoming light (from any appreciable distance) will focus at the other edge of the bowl (assuming it is roughly spherical)
