Bush wants amnesty for illegal aliens for political reasons. He thinks it help Repubs in the southwest to promise amnesty to illegals. Meanwhile, midwest conservatives (ohio, indiana, illinois, iowa, etc) think Bush is rewarding illegals for their illegal behavior.

Not 1 terrorist has come across the mexican or canadian border illegally. Hell all of the highjackers on 9-11 had VISAs from the State Dept. You won't know who could commit a terrorist act until it happens.
