Beast,may I say that was a very good argument,I dont agree on all points and some dont matter as much to me as they do others.The dems do have to gain momentum going into the next election,they have been labeled as obstructionists and unable to come up with new ideas that the public would adopt.They will have to come out and tell thier vision of the future for anyone to think anything is different.I have nothing against voting for a dem.He must have fresh ideas that make sense,be openly pro-american.He also cant appear to be owned by special intrest groups(now,naacp,unions,peta).Groups that all have a purpose but become more corrupt as membership grows and they think they have to take it to the next level.Most republicans I know would say that this would be the driving force behind thier vote.Foriegn policy is somewhat beyond the election process.I know its important but most republicans see the country as becoming morally corrupt and want a new direction for thier kids.If the dems can come up with a platform that follows these aspects they can win.
