27251: i try not to limit my acquisition of knowledge to any specific time period, but i am partial to the cretaceous (65 myo)- the early Devonian (400 myo). solving the kt boundry mystery i think will bring about a need to explore new and very exciting excavation sites.

i also would one day like to trek to Siberia to collect mammoth tusks. i have a great site in Montana for fossil collecting as well as agatized petrified wood (a personal favorite). alas my rock saw has gone belly up and have resorted to going to Brookhaven community college to utilize their resources. they have a 36" saw that's real nice. mine was only 12" and large specimens were harder to get perfect with my polisher, alot more time and grit to smooth
