I think the world learned just how deadly nuclear weapons are which is why they haven't been used since. If you think Iran, who have publicly called for our destruction, would not use nuclear weapons on us or our interests then you are living with blinders on. Iran has a large terrorist organization under it's control and it would be easy for them to give all kinds of nuclear weapons to the terrorists to use against us. Wheather it is a suitcase nuke or a dirty bomb, Iran would not hesitate to use it and Hezbulla(sp) against us. No they should never be allowed nuclear capability.
