About like I figured ... I just looked at 4 different sets of stats and found 4 different reported figures. If you look this up and research it, you can find lotsa different answers.
One absolute truism though is that our crime rates are high, which means the number of victims is too, so here's an absolute .... if being unprotected in the event of having a crime perpetrated against you sounds like a great idea then be the criminals best friend and ally and be sure to lobby for gun control laws
