I think it's a matter of finding the pitfalls and loopholes as this technology works it's way more into the mainstream then filling in and closing those pitfalls and loopholes. It was the pioneers who ended up with the most arrows in their backs and so it is with technological pioneers. Florida is a natural for solar and wind generated power, Florida Power and Light is in the process of building what I think is the largest solar array in the world about thirty miles (48km) from where I sit, but photovoltaics and batteries are still in babyland. I hope to see the day when individuals can purchase an affordable system combining wind and solar that will provide all their electrical needs.
