One of my all time favorite aircraft because I love how it looks. It was the contender vs. the then YF-22 for the Advanced Tactical Fighter contract.

It lost because it was slightly more expensive and too advanced and unconventional looking for the Air Force at that time. It was more stealthy and faster than the YF-22, but the YF-22 was more agile.
