Only one of those targets is an immediate danger. The kid with the gun is the one which hasn't developed the mental block to killing yet. He doesn't understand that when you die in life you do not get anymore lives to try again. I would say most people do not kill others easily without thought so the rest would hesitate long enough to talk them down.
