It bothers them the same way it would bother you if there was a whole religion and culture built around the firm belief that the Easter Bunny is real, complete with a book of stories and rules that must be followed, some of them very barbaric and cruel rules, and if you don't believe and follow the rules you'll suffer for all eternity. Not a very loving Easter Bunny, that. Oops, I just blasphemed - I'm doomed.
