i didn't read the whole thread because i have heard the same argument, as well as the "defense" of beliefs, along with the "justification" (for the lack of a better word) for people's thinking on racism. here multiple times.
people are not born prejudice, they are taught to be by a multitude of differing factors. the problem is in the mindset of the past, and the utter disregard of the consequences of future encounters.
there are a percentage of black people that feel "entitled" to someone else's stuff just because they are black. the logic in this is flawed beyond belief because the same people think that they are entitled (and old groin is partially correct) because of a historical persecution of black people by white people (of many nationalities).
the main problem (i think) is the source that people are quoting as historical gospel, and not the COMPLETE story. it's nothing more than a tool to help keep the "sheep" fighting amongst themselves.
