Been a while so it's time to update.

So the motor in this thing died after just 200 miles, just my luck. It's been sittin since while I've been gatherin up the rest of the parts to build the 2.4 for it.

So far I've already spent several multiples of what I paid for it in new parts acquisitions and still need another cuppla grand before it's all said and done. Good thing I like the car :>

The build parts list is now pages long .... and still growing. However, when I get it done it will be like no other set up I've ever seen and it's gonna be chock full of tricks, both visible and some not, that should make it a solid performer with top notch show quality custom touches too. It's nice when a car runs well, but when it does so and all the work is clean, has as many wires as possible disappear, and everything is all tailored in as clean as a pin, it's even better, and that's how I prefer my work to look, so ...

Decided to keep the engine bay color scheme really simple, black on black on black. I'll have the intake manny and intake pipe either painted or powder coated a matte silver and the valve cover powder coated a dark metallic blue, but just about everything else will be black, including the aluminum engine components. Not really monochomatic, but close.

Overall, its a "labor of love" project. Now if I can just find that damned tree and chop that bitch down, I could finally stop doin this ->
