I remember a trip on the Amtrak that went through dry counties and they had to not sell booze in the lounge car while were passing through..

I remember being in Fargo ND and not being able to get booze on Sunday but at the same time you could buy booze in Moorhead MN..Fargo and Moorhead are essentially one big city...

I used to buy whisky sours to go from a small town bar in Minnesota..it was legal for them to sell it but not legal for you to have an open container of alcohol in a car and not legal to drink in public..so you could only walk home and drink it there..
