I genuinely don't understand the issue with masks. They're mandatory outside here, but not required when eating/drinking incl restaurants and bars and you were exempt with genuine medical reason and when doing vigorous exercise. In other words, common sense.
We've had 0 daily cases and 0 deaths for nearly a month now. It really wasn't a big deal. Marginally annoying, sure. Certainly not the end of the world.
