All religion is only personal if you believe in some type of mysticism - and that's make-believe.
What the image is unmasking is a religion of make-believe. You might call it 'woke', 'mysticism', 'pilpul' or something else. The fact it's preached in such small circles so widely means someone is funding it - by money paid to one or more universities and from there to other universities.
