False on various levels, however let's look at the analogy:
The showerheads: saved water, you paid less on the water bill.
The light bulbs: saved electricity, you paid less on your electric bill.
Low-flow toilets: saved half a gallon per flush, you paid less on your water bill.
Gas stoves: this isn't about saving you money. Natural resources, perhaps. But the analogy uses three examples of why this was GOOD for you.
Also, they're not coming for your gas stoves.
