Sorry, Aunt Jemima was a marketing creation, just like Betty Crocker, with the difference being that the legend of Aunt Jemima was very much akin to Song Of The South in making black people's roles and slavery in the 1860s seem a positive thing. (Yes, I have a 1930s Aunt Jemima cookbook with "The Legend".)
