Toyota Saharas are definitely made for the yank market, it could easily lose 8" in width (or more) without sacrificing comfort. The dashboard could lose 2" in height without sacrificing screen size (made for fat fingers). As most of them don't go off the road they could easily lose 6" of height, removing that running board I had to step on to grab the handle and haul myself in. I've been in a 4WD going up a 60
o dirt road with a water course running down it at an angle - it didn't have a running board.
Or you could just take a Land Cruiser, lengthen the suspension whilst handling the same bumps (smoother ride), more comfortable seats, water proof, wipe clean floor pads that don't transmit as much shock to your feet and hydrogen fuel cell...
