One of my favourite quotes I saw somewhere a few years ago was in regards to taxing the ultra wealthy in the US a higher amount.
"Good luck becoming a billionaire then!" said the toothless guy who lived in a trailer.
It never ceases to amaze me how much Americans believe that it's only a matter of time until they make it big, that pay day is coming, so we need to keep the rich getting richer because "one day that will be me".
