I can't speak for pulse but I definitely have no life.
However when I am working, vast parts of my day involve waiting for computers and machinery to do things. LOTS of waiting. Like right now. And although I usually work 9-5 office hours I also have to do work outside of hours with only a delivered pizza for company. Back in the day I would play DOOM during those downtimes.
