Do dead bodies float right away or does it take a few days, thats a serious question?/almost.

takes a few days, I believe... has to do with the gases that are generated as a result of the gradually decomposing body...

initially sink, which is why people are found at bottom of pools, etc. im not making fun. decomposition starts immediately upon death. depending on temp. and other conditions, will float.

A dead body can lift a good bit, can it not, hence the cement shoes in the Chicago River?? If this shit keeps this could be one of the most serious posts ever posted on this flamier site.
