Chances are this is somehow directed towards the president in someway. As some of you may or may not know President Bush passed legislation early in His presidencey to allow loggers to cut down trees in forests that were previously deemed restricted by the Clinton administration. The president rationalized this act by stating that that loose dry brush was fuel for forest fires...Neverless this sent various environmental groups into a frenzy...GRRR!!!

The photo itself, unlike some of the comments, is not in any way "somehow directed towards the president." It's simply a mishap I witnessed and photographed on the island where I live. The truck was actually halfway onto the landing just before this happened. The barge operator had to keep the barge going full-ahead to hold the ramp against the landing, but the sheer weight of the truck and cargo-- about 70,000 tons --forced the front end of the barge downward, causing the rear of the barge (and therefore the propellers) to raise up out of the water. Props out of the water = no forward motion. Brake failure on the truck caused the whole she-bang to roll right into the harbor. And I'm reasonably certain the president had nothing to do with it. ;-)
