THAT is the important question.
is it a Bible belief deal?
is it a "i wanna be the last around so i can loot anything i want" deal?
is it a depression deal?

it's always made no sense to me.

the deal with the Mayans, The Hopi etc...is that they end an era so that they may start again fresh. it's like new years to our time and place (i think).

Religion and superstition for sure, but that doesn't really explain why these people want the world to end. Sure it's a really fucked place at times, well most times. There is always some bad shit going down somewhere. But sometimes good things happen and usually because somebody did good things to make them happen.

It is a very selfish thing to wish for the end of the world. Do things to help fix the world instead.
