DON'T TAKE MUH FREEDUMZ! shouted the guy in the wheelchair, late 1959.

Except Covid can't be annihilated.

It could be and was in several countries. Unfortunately only to be brought back
by travelers.

I can't speak for other countries environments'
It is spreading through the ecosystem here.
They have found it in deer and zoo animals.
It seems that it infects almost any mammal, it comes in contact with.

Polio has been nearly eradicated because of vaccination programs that people
started participating in 1954. In 1988 there were 350,000 cases worldwide and in
2017 that number was down to 22 reported cases. Vaccinations created herd
immunity, something we should have been approaching by now with COVID if it
weren't for the politically motivated covidiots who prefer to be the control
group and have allowed the virus to mutate into something that still infects
some of the vaccinated though with a far, far better prognosis than that for the
unvaccinated. It's my guess that there will eventually be yearly vaccinations
for COVID just as there are now for the flu.
Robert Kraft Report This Comment Date: September 22, 2021 01:20AM
The reason that there has never been a cold vaccine is because, there are at
least 20 types of it that infect people, and about 200 more that are
occasionally in circulation.
Covid mutates far faster than a cold virus.
It is probable that in a few months or years that the current vaccines will not
work, there will probably be too many mutations to count.

Yep. But it shows that lockdowns etc would've worked if we did it properly,
globally.
Australia and New Zealand, as well as all the pacific islands (+ other places)
completely eradicated COVID last year. It's still eradicated in half of
Australia, unfortunately the Eastern states are having an outbreak (small by
global standards, 1500 cases per day over ~18 million people). It came in from
an international flight again.
We had cases last year, it got to something like 20,000 active cases here.. but
through lockdowns and control measures, it was eradicated. If the world actually
worked together for once, and every fuckwit wasn't complaining about their
sovereign rights, whatever they are; then we'd have had 2-4 weeks of lockdown
period and all could've got on with our lives.
Instead we have to deal with this global shit show. Humans are the fucking worst
and frankly deserve to die.

Son of a bitch, Pulse, that was low.
Did you get shaken by the quake?
pulse Report This Comment Date: September 23, 2021 12:53AM
Haha
Yeah, shook for 20-30 seconds here. No damage around my area, but I'll upload a
pic I took not far from here. I was standing in the shower at the time, thought
I was feeling a bit shitty or something then realised what was going on.
