I had a cell phone that saved its picture files as DDMMYYYY and it was absurd. April 5th's pictures come up before May 5th's, and April 6th's come up after that?
MMDDYYYY makes more sense because it groups by month. YYYYMMDD makes the most sense.

My OCD aside, any format is acceptable so long as all users know about it.
I still name files with _ instead of spaces and use .filename.backup or filename20231122 etc,
workmates think I'm nuts but they can always figure out what I mean because there is at least some logic to it.
