Walking along early morning (or in this pic, afternoon after work) with a
rifle, the road is crossed by tracks used by feral pigs. They eat lambs and
sometimes cattle. So you set up a trap, shot a wild animal, cut its stomach
open, dragged it along the road past said tracks, twice or slowly, leaving lots
of scent, throw it in the trap, the pigs find a way in, a main entrance for the
large ones, a flap entrance for the small ones, can't get out. If you think
there are more untrapped you shoot a couple away from the entrances. The others
eat them, clearing room for more, attracted by the smell of meat and intestine.
Defending agricultural production is time consuming any way you look at it, any
way it's done.

This one time, at Lake Cargelligo, I stuck a flute in...
...oh sorry.
About a million years ago when we went to Lake Cargelligo,
we would put a goats' head (sorry pulse) in the trap by a dam.
We let the trap catch the little piglets (not that little now that I think of
it)
and when the mamma pig came around BAM!
That pigs head got hurt about the same as my fucking shoulder.
Mama went to the dogs and piglets went to the spit (or the butcher in
Condobolin).

I went outside once.
It was shit and I wouldn't recommend it at all.

How long before someone recommends not defending agricultural production and
going vegan?
Pulse, here the thermometer says 30
o, the UV and cosmic radiation
make it feel like 40. Add the humidity and it's a horror. And I'm doing
kilometres of morning walks.

I'm doing a 100km ride supporting a cancer charity Sunday, over a number of
extinct volcanoes. More than 1000m of climbing, and meant to be 30 degrees.
Should be fun. Sadly, it's outside.

I walked 11.5kms this morning, I talk to 7 people on those walks, not all every
day, mowed the lawn, did some pruning and shopping. I'm sleeping in tomorrow.
Will leave home at 8.
