40 degree heat + sudden hail and storm + lose power substation = dead site.
The 2 UPS' kept things online for about 3 hours, which is longer than I expected
tbh; but then that was enough.

It's gone from a tier 3 data centre to a tier 1 (no redundancy, eg no multiple
power feeds etc), amount of equipment has been drastically reduced and
consolidated where possible.
We used to have around 1TB of RAM for the database servers, plus all the workers
etc.. something like 400 CPU cores. The whole thing runs on a few hundred gb RAM
today and a couple of dozen cores.
Hosting costs are down about 95% from when we were running the porn site too. It
can run with pocket change.
