So the real story is that she shot her 14 month old dog because it misbehaved and was "not trainable" as a hunting dog. Then she decided to shoot her obnoxious old goat that butted people and smelled bad. Does this mean I'd be justified in shooting the three little yapping dogs across the street that spend their days when their owner is away constantly barking at anything that moves?

Quasi, in law it's a matter of who owns it and the property it was done on. As far as society goes, I don't need to boast about any shooting I've done.

Her boasting is part gun culture nonsense and part not knowing the difference between cruelty and toughness. It's an epidemic in the U.S.

Headline to wait for: Noam's neighbor drops her with a .38 for parking in front of their mailbox again. Legally justified.

I don't have any yank media/entertainment - I understand that's where it comes from, that their film houses employ psychological warfare experts, formerly yank army, to condition the audience. Back then it was creating shock and then delivering a concept, to change what the audience thinks. They behave the way they are taught and don't understand the use of "College level words" in Peppa Pig! Like optometrist...

I've always been in favour of the Westminster System: rule of law and a regulated competitive market, where the regulations are by people with technical and professional qualifications in the subject concerned. Oh, and local councils exist primarily for the division and exploitation of the land, that's why the Saxons invented it. So roads, land clearing and fence reconstruction after a disaster that destroys fences takes priority over 'arts precincts' and so on.

I see a lot of undermining of the purpose of local government in Australia.
