Even if he could find that $2T; it could only be by getting rid of hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of federally employed workers, damaging other parts of the economy.

I always love people who come in with sweeping statements like savings etc. It never pans out. I can't tell you how many senior managers have made such promises at work and failed dismally. Or "simplification" programmes which were anything but.

Listen to how she recounts a message sent to her that says what you may be thinking after she prefaces it with why that thinking is wrong. This lady and her husband know their shit, they may be rednecks but they're rednecks that have been around. Trump's campaign promises appealed to a lot of dumbasses who think he and Musk are gods because they're rich yet looking out for them (lol) as well as billionaires who know they'll amass even more money. Trump is not a man of the people, he's a representative of a select few and an agent of chaos, and those who voted for him, other than the already wealthy, are going to suffer right along with the rest of world while he thrashes around doing stupid things. But let's worry about rainbow fire hydrants and the 0.02% of the population that is transgender while drought-stricken places burn and hurricanes get stronger and more frequent, let's get pissed about trivial things such as people just living their own lives while the planet tries to eradicate the virus that is giving it a fever.
