I was watching mythbusters, and they were using this on one of the episodes. It
was used with a CAD program.... and I wasn't sure if it was older technology or
what? I figured one the the site experts on here would be able to ID it for me.

Is that some sort of 3D haptic input device? (essentially an arm with a sensor
you can touch to an object at various points to 3D model them in a computer)
