i always thought uncle sam represented freedom...never thought of him as a war monger...yeah yeah, freedom isn't free, i know...i know...but i think an image such as this does nothing more than depict america as a bully.

That's whats fun about this site. A lot of us will suffer from:Intaxication: Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you realize it was your money to start with.

I have always used the tax refund as a savings plan. If I were to put the money in the bank savings I would have access to it and it wouln't stay there. I don't care that it doesn't draw interest, the fact that I can't touch it until the refund time makes it good for me. I always pay more every payday in taxes just for this reason. Nothing wrong with that in my book.
